Striking Development Lesson – 10min:
- Basic Footwork: Stance & Guard (Don Madge)
- Slip & Counter Straight Punches (Richie Quan)

- Different from video: I prefer people to turn more at the waist and shoulder with very little dip
- Essential Detail: Don’t hinge at the waist, turn the hips and shoulders
- Most Common Mistake: Dropping the guard
- Drill Orders: Teach the skill as a shadow drill, then finish as a partner drill

BJJ Development Lesson – 10min:
Elevator Sweep
- Standard Variation
- Indicator: Bully posts one leg to drive their weight forward and punch you.
- Essential Detail: Effective body angle.
- Most Common Mistake: Insufficient hook elevation and arm reach to the sky.
- Safety Tip: Hold your weight off the child to avoid crushing their body.
- ‘Transfer Teaching Tip: Make the leg chop easy at first, then get heavier and heavier with time.
Partne Drills – 5min:
